1.General description of dry granulating system
This closed granulation production line is a modular production line that developed by our company with the introduction of international advanced technology and many years of practical experience. The production line can avoid dust leakage and cross pollution in the process of material transfer. The configuration is flexible, efficiency is high and convenient to operate. And it meets the requirements of cGMP for pharmaceutical process.
The granulation production line is mainly composed of vacuum feeder, roller compactor (dry granulator) and vibrating sieve. The powder is loaded to the roller compactor (dry granulator) for granulating by the vacuum feeder. The speed of screw conveyor press rollers and milling device adopt frequency conversion speed regulation, which is suitable for dry granulation of materials with different characteristics. After granulation, the material is directly transferred to the vibrating sieve. After screening, the qualified granules are collected and transferred to the next process, and the fine powder will return to the (dry granulator) for re-granulating. The whole process is completely sealed without dust leakage and cross pollution. It is a fully automatic production line with simple operation, and it greatly reduces the labor intensity.
2. Features of the dry granulating system
1. Liquid binder is not needed during the granulating process, so after granulating the granules do not need to be dried. The material is formed by mechanical pressing, which does not destroy the chemical properties of the material, and does not reduce the effective content of the product.
2. Compared with the wet granulating drying production line, the dry granulating production line needs smaller floor area, lower energy consumption and higher granulation efficiency.
3. In this production line, granulation and drying are completed in the same clean room, which avoids the cross pollution caused by the transfer of materials in multiple clean rooms. The process is more scientific and reasonable, and saves the space occupied by the equipment.
4. The production line ensures the continuity and stability of production and improves the yield of finished products.
5. The conveying of material is completed by vacuum feeder, which greatly reduces the labor intensity and dust pollution.
6. The system adopts PLC automatic control system and graphical operation interface. The working parameters can be automatically stored for browsing and printing.
7. The explosion-proof system and reliable interlock, grounding and other safety measures of the system ensure the safety of personnel, equipment and environment.
